Most of us get comfortable with what we already know, and we don’t go out and explore our boundaries.
Life is busy, and we don't have time to play around. Truth is, it takes courage to live a creative life and step beyond our fears and limitations.

In Stages of limbo we create a space for you to explore, play and recharge your creative energies.  
In our community we believe in intuitive first times, in imperfect outcomes, and in creating just because it’s fun.
It’s a safe place to meet your creative fears and ease into the not knowning.

We don’t promise you to become a professional artist by the end, but we can guarantee that for six days you will:

• Experience a lot of first-times

• Set your creativity in motion

• Connect with a group of creators, makers and doers

• Live a in a community and collaborate with artists

• Teach and lead others

• Enjoy the beautiful landscape and silence of Sinai

Yes. We embrace the chaos that comes from the mixture of diverse personalities and outlooks, and therefore we welcome all age groups.

You do not have to be an artist to apply.
But you have to be fast, because we only take a small group of people.

with who

As part of your growth, we have curated a collection of local artists, sourced from Israel and selected based on their experience, and creative energy.

Just like you, they are coming to explore themselves in unknown territories and expand their creative horizons. We don’t believe in hierarchy, everybody in the community is a teacher and a student, and gives a workshop to the rest of the group.

We aimed to invite the most colourful group of people and mediums to be part of this experience. The are coming from acting, painting, movement, photography and music background.

We don’t want anything to disturb our creative incubator, so we go to a secluded beach camp in Sinai, Egypt. A beautiful coastline, a beach camp equipped with everything essential and no external interference. As we disconnect from our devices, we reconnect with ourself, our creativity, our community and nature.

SINAI

Sinai is a peninsula in Egypt. The coral reefs and surrounding towering mountains makes Sinai an undiscovered treasure. During our time here, we stay in bungalows by the beach. Our camp is equipped with everything essential, but nothing more. Only desert winds, the sound of the waves and starry nights.
